You see, I've been just where you probably are right now. What changed everything was the email that told me I'd just made my first commission for an Instant Internet Lifestyle affiliate sale!


For any of you who might be struggling to get your own Instant Internet Lifestyle online business started (or any other online business, for that matter), the first few weeks are usually the toughest.


First, you might be in a financial crunch to begin with, (this is often the reason many people start considering an Internet business in the first place) so you're feeling that pressure to get some money coming in FAST. Second, you don't yet have the confidence to know if your lack of immediate results is just an expected start-up delay, or due to some error on your part.

I went through that, so I know how it feels.


I remember one day in particular when I woke up early and stumbled to the computer to check the results of an article I'd posted the night before. That was the start of everything changing for the better. I was rested and refreshed from my mini-'vacation' and got back to writing my posts. The sales began building WITHOUT ME HAVING TO DO ANYTHING ELSE and my brain began pumping out ideas. My new posts were sharper and better written. My neighbors were happier, my dogs were happier -- heck, EVERYONE was happier.


Best of all my investment in Instant Internet Lifestyle had now more than paid for itself, and things were starting to mushroom.


So, my sincere and heartfelt advice to any of you who are stressed or discouraged because you're just starting out and nothing's 'happened' yet, is this:

I was recently on a Q&A call with massively successful Internet Marketer Lee McIntyre of Instant Internet Lifestyle and GetMoreMomentum.com.  


To be truthful, I was kind of drifting in and out, because the call had been going on well over an hour and a half, but then all of a sudden I heard him talking about something that just cut through the fog and really hit home with me.

Relax?  I thought the point when getting started was to take action!  Write articles and blogs and Tweet and FB stuff and in general create a flurry of excitement about your product.

He was telling me the story of my life -- and the life of so many others who try hard to make it in Internet marketing and find themselves unable to get any traction.  How many of you are (or were) in the same boat - feeling like you're spinning your wheels and maybe even about to give up and go find a job flipping burgers instead?

So I took a deep breath and regained my focus. It wasn't 'me', being inadequate.  It wasn't poorly converting affiliate products or bad copy writing or a plot to keep me from succeeding.  It was simple mathematics, and knowing that enabled me to  . . . relax, and get to work without the draining, distracting, paralyzing fear that I was failing.


My hope is that this post will touch those of you who need to hear those words, as I did.  Don't give up!  Relax, focus, and keep forging ahead.  It's a numbers game.

More on Giving First and Loving What You Do - Instant Internet Lifestyle Review

You know, whether considering Instant Internet Lifestyle by Lee McIntyre, or any other online business program on the web, it's easy to get sidetracked by techie/geeky 'tricks', slick ways to make a buck, dreams of beach lifestyles or easy riches.

Instant Internet Lifestyle in a Box - Can You Really Buy One?

If you've been browsing the various Internet/Online business courses you may be wondering if you can buy that coveted instant Internet lifestyle in a box?  You know, just buy it, plug it in and watch the money roll in?


I think most of us know deep down that is just a fantasy. Even so, you'd be amazed how many thousands of dollars people end up spending trying to do just that.  They buy a course here, a software trick there, an info product or two and next thing you know, a few years later ----  they're not rich.  Nope, they're just broke and discouraged.


Maybe you've been there yourself.

Integrity? What I Learned About Internet Marketing Today, From the Source

This is just a quick post to share an important insight with everyone; something that was driven home to me during a talk this morning with a highly successful Instant Internet Lifestyle online marketer. 


It's not about 'trying to make money'.


It's about enjoying what you're doing AND doing it in the most ethical, honest way you know how.  


All the rest, all the SEO and headline, product and software 'tricks' of the trade (if they are also ethical and honest) can be added onto this. But without the underlying drive to genuinely help others, deliver quality content and always over-deliver (giving much more than you actually charged for the product -- more than your customer was expecting) none of it matters.


Sure some slick sales sites full of spin and hype might make some money - at least at first - but a poor reputation will catch up with you.  Trying to 'sell' out of desperation, ineptitude or selfishness will haunt you in the end.


Instead the answer is to put the integrity of your business - and yourself - right up there with the best interest of the people buying your product or service.


Does this sound old fashioned? Does it sound like  . . . gasp . . . WORK?


Well, to be truthful, yes it is work.  So is playing sports, carving a sculpture, writing a novel or learning to ride a horse. These skills all take a LOT of work.  Sometimes a lifetime of it.


But -- is it PLEASURABLE and worthwhile work?


Absolutely.  If it's not, for you, you're probably in the wrong business.  Or doing it wrong.


Gimmicky, 'hypey' or borderline headlines or marketing methods? Be very careful.


Honest value, generous sharing of knowledge, helpful advice, and genuine integrity?  I don't see any way to lose.
