Doesn't That First Commission Check Feel GREAT? Instant Internet Lifestyle Success Story!

I could also call this Instant Internet Lifestyle blog post, 'Relax, Stop Stressing, Get Away From That Computer!"

You see, I've been just where you probably are right now. What changed everything was the email that told me I'd just made my first commission for an Instant Internet Lifestyle affiliate sale!

For any of you who might be struggling to get your own Instant Internet Lifestyle online business started (or any other online business, for that matter), the first few weeks are usually the toughest.

First, you might be in a financial crunch to begin with, (this is often the reason many people start considering an Internet business in the first place) so you're feeling that pressure to get some money coming in FAST. Second, you don't yet have the confidence to know if your lack of immediate results is just an expected start-up delay, or due to some error on your part.

So, checking your PayPal account or Get More Momentum affiliate log compulsively every day (or every hour) can not only be disheartening, it can be downright counter-productive.

I went through that, so I know how it feels.

I remember one day in particular when I woke up early and stumbled to the computer to check the results of an article I'd posted the night before. Sure, some people had read it, and a few clicked on the links, but no one bought.  I checked another article, then another, then a blog post, then my affiliate commissions page, then, discouraged and anxious, I checked the first article again to see if anyone new had clicked in the last minute . . .

. . . on and on it went until, at one point, as my eyes struggled to adjust to the dimming light and my stomach began to growl, I realized I'd just wasted a few HOURS stuck in front of the computer stressing out over my stats!

Needless to say, my angst didn't change anything for the better, but it very probably set my affiliate marketing efforts back a few weeks.

If anything (to be completely honest) I was even beginning to think I'd made a mistake investing in Instant Internet Lifestyle.

After driving myself and everyone else crazy with my anxiety for another three or four weeks, finally I threw up my hands and let go of the wheel, so to speak. I already had several online articles published and a few blog posts up. I was at a loss of what else to do, so I gave up.

Yup, I just gave up.

I went in a totally different direction, and set my art studio back up. I made a trip to a local art store, got  all excited about my painting again, worked on a canvas, and even caught up on some yard work (something I actually really enjoy doing).

It felt great to get away from the computer! I felt that tingle of renewed energy begin flowing into me again.

I forgot to even look at my stats page for almost two weeks, (after all, I'd given up!) although I did continue attending calls and watching old webinars. Mostly, though, I'd 'quit'.

OK, I know you're already way ahead of me. Yes, one morning I was lazily checking my inbox before breakfast and there it was: CONGRATULATIONS, YOU'VE MADE A SALE!

I told everyone! EVERYONE!

That was the start of everything changing for the better. I was rested and refreshed from my mini-'vacation' and got back to writing my posts. The sales began building WITHOUT ME HAVING TO DO ANYTHING ELSE and my brain began pumping out ideas. My new posts were sharper and better written. My neighbors were happier, my dogs were happier -- heck, EVERYONE was happier.

Best of all my investment in Instant Internet Lifestyle had now more than paid for itself, and things were starting to mushroom.

So, my sincere and heartfelt advice to any of you who are stressed or discouraged because you're just starting out and nothing's 'happened' yet, is this:

Do the steps Lee advises, exactly as he says to, in Instant Internet Lifestyle

Double check that you've done them as you were taught in Instant Internet Lifestyle.

Then - stop staring at it! Just like a seed takes a few days or weeks to germinate underground before the first tentative tendrils poke out of the ground, it will take your new Internet business a little while to get rolling.

Expect it.

Soon enough, probably when you're not looking, the money will start to flow in - and that's when everything suddenly changes for the better.

I promise you, from personal experience, if you follow the steps Lee outlines in his course, Instant Internet Lifestyle will work for you, too!

And yes, I can tell you, even if it's the smallest commission payment you're ever going to make, that FIRST one feels absolutely terrific!

Here's to YOUR Instant Internet Lifestyle!

Best,

Cathy
